Media Lesson 20/01

In todays lesson we looked at the test footage I did from inside the house, the people in my group were happy with the footage and now I need to film it with some actors. We found though that with the bedroom shot at night, it was very dark, so we may need to get some soft lighting for the room so we can see the shot well enough.

Media Lesson 13/01

In this lesson we looked at some previous group's opening thriller sequences, we looked at how they gained marks and lost marks. After that we carried on working on some ideas for our opening sequence, after thinking about it hard, we decided that we were going to do our opening sequence from inside a house, our idea was that someone would be stalking her and eventually be abducted and kept in a room. I took a camera home to get some test shots.

Media Lesson 6/1/12

In this lesson we looked at our filming over the Christmas Holidays. Unfortunatly, due to Christchurch Park closing just as we arrived, we couldn't get sufficent footage. We managed though, to get a few tester shots of some ideas. After looking at our footage in the lesson, we decided that it would be better to film in the daytime. We thought of the idea of an abduction in Chrsitchurch Park, or somewhere in a wooded area.

Media Lesson 16/12

In this lesson we analysed the opening sequence to the film, 'Leon'. We saw that it had a white bold font in the middle, it didn't draw attention away from the background though. We also saw an establishing birds-eye shot to set the location. There was calm non-diegetic music. When the dialouge started, we see ECU which show importance, suspense and mystery.
